Planned Giving
What is Planned Giving?
Planned giving is a thoughtful process that enables you to maximize the personal benefits of your charitable giving while helping those that have been that are the victims of poverty and injustice.

In short, a planned gift is a way for you to combine your personal financial objectives with your charitable giving goals.

Your support of WE International is significant in our work in combating poverty and injustices. It is through your generosity that lives are changed; that we give dignity to people whom would have little chance otherwise. By making a gift to the mission of WE International you are making a testimony to your commitment to lives of whom you help.

Receive Life Income
Life income gifts allow you to make a generous gift to WE International, and in return provide fixed annual income payments to you and/or loved ones for life; an immediate Federal income tax deduction; and avoidance or deferral of capital gains tax on gifts of appreciated securities held long term. Learn more about life income gifts.

Give Real Estate
An outright gift of real estate that has been held for more than one year qualifies you for an income tax deduction for the full market value of the property and allows you to avoid capital gains tax on the appreciated portion. Alternatively, you can give real estate and receive life income with a charitable remainder trust or give the property and retain lifetime use for yourself. Make a Bequest
Bequests are a wonderful way to have an impact on the work of the WE International beyond your lifetime and to leave a meaningful legacy that will make a difference in others lives for years to come. A gift through your will or living trust is fully deductible from your estate and can significantly reduce taxes on the balance of your estate. You can also leave a legacy by naming WE International as beneficiary of your qualified retirement plan (such as IRAs, Keoghs, qualified pensions, tax deferred annuities and some TIAA CREF plans.) Learn more about bequests.

Provide for Loved Ones
Charitable lead trusts allow you to provide payments to WE International for a number of years, then after that term, transfer the income-producing assets to your heirs with greatly reduced gift and estate tax rates. Learn more about charitable lead trusts.

Give through a Qualified Retirement Plan
A gift to WE International from your company's pension plan, an Individual Retirement Account (IRA) or a Keogh Plan is a welcomed and thoughtful way to support the work of WE International. This gift could come to WE International either during your lifetime or thereafter. Learn more about qualified retirement plans.

Give Life Insurance
Life insurance is often overlooked and underestimated, yet it can be a valuable and financially efficient way of making a planned gift to WE International. A charitable gift of life insurance is a wonderful way to use policies that will not be needed to protect a spouse or child (i.e. policies representing “excess” coverage) to help those that WE International seeks to serve, empower and give a change to dream.

WE International Inc is a 501(C)(3)public charity, and your gifts are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.
